I have finally made it out of Manatee pocket. If you have been following along with my Island Packet 27 you know that I have been down to the boat a few time getting it ready to start moving it further south first and then turning around and heading back to points further north. Specifically

If you have spent any time on the water at all, you have probably had an encounter or two with an unruly outboard motor. I have had way more than my share. Someone else take some of this burden! It’s not like Ive even had them for a long time and neglected the maintaining. I

The boat is hauled out and bottom sanded and getting ready for new paint. The gel coat area where there were some cracks has been repaired and color matched. The rudder is getting some work on a dead spot over the next few days and then it’s off to the serious work for the chainplates!
